Letters from Argentina, round two

It's winter here in Argentina, yet a nice 75+ degrees every day. I packed the wrong clothes and I'm sweating all the time. Things are much more relaxed this time around, and I can actually experience what I'm shooting, cherishing that extra half hour of sleep every night. Here's my 8 steps of success:

1 - Don't think about it, just shoot.
2 - Loosen up.
3 - Drink Malbec.
4 - Life is too short, eat the chocolate and shut up.
5 - Life is too short, eat the blood sausage and like it.
6 - You're your own best friend and treat your body like it's the best thing that's ever happened to you.
7 - Sleep.
8 - Repeat.

I love these photos! Although I have eaten blood sausage, I didn't like it. I agree that chocolate is also good, and a health benefit. The food shots are, as always, fantastic! I wish I could see it in person!

WTF!!?? Wha--? Huh? How is it possible that you get better and better every year? This album is one of the most beautiful I've ever, ever seen. You truly have an eye for this stuff. Beautiful composition, beautiful assemblage, brilliant technical execution. You should be smiling and proud, m'lady.

Keep their heads ringin'

Your photos are amazing, truly. I'm also wondering if any of these are film or is this all digital? Your food photography in particular resonates with me in a way I cannot explain, but all of your photos are so gorgeous, you really have such a gift.

Hey Sara, great shots! Did you get a chance to visit Macchu Picchu on your South America trip? If not, you should definitely stop by if you go back again.

Sara,

You must truly be living la vie en rose. You photos were so stunning and moving that I felt in the moment with you.

The images seem to suspend the tick of the clock as if time slowed down long enough for us to feel your heartbeat and your catch of breath as you shot the image.

You have captured the soul and spirit of the people, the food, and the land in each of your images.

We have a window into your heart and what is revealed is a gift.

Thank you for sharing. You made my day.
